Daley - Student Nurses Association Chapter (D-SNAC)
Are you interested in public and personal health? Want to do something proactive and positive? If so, the Daley - Student Nurses Association may be perfect for you!
The Daley – Student Nurses Association Chapter (D-SNAC) promotes and encourages:
- Participation in community affairs and activities towards improved health care and the resolution of related social issues
- Recruitment efforts, participation in student activities, and educational opportunities regardless of a person’s race, color, creed, national origin ethnicity, age, gender, marital status, lifestyle, disability or economic status
- Collaborative relationships with the American Nurses Association, the National League for Nursing, the International Council of Nurses, as well as the other nursing and related health organizations.
Membership Requirements
Members must maintain satisfactory academic standards to participate in D-SNAC activities. The following academic and code of conduct criteria must be maintained at all times:
- Maintain a GPA of 2.0 (2.5 for elected officers) or greater in all coursework
- Display professional and academic integrity at all times
- Demonstrate leadership skills both on and off campus
- Must be registered for at least six (6) credit hours
