CCC is an open enrollment institution and students are accepted year-round.

The Admissions Application Calendar shows key dates for credit students during the the 2021-2022 academic year. Students interested in completing a degree or certificate should complete
 an online application​. Once your application has been processed, you will receive an acceptance letter that includes your Student ID number and an email with your student credenitals, including a temporary password to log into My.CCC.edu. If you are a returning or continuing student, you will have to reset your CCC student portal password at passwordreset.ccc.edu.                    

Once you’ve been admitted, you will need to attend the New Student Orientation. TRANSCRIPT CREDIT PROCEDURES        

Students submitting transcripts from colleges or universities can submit official transcripts to the appropriate Registrar’s Office where the student intends to register and/or request a transcript evaluation to receive transfer credit.  Please note, official transcripts are required to receive transfer credit.  Students transferring credit to City Colleges of Chicago are required to submit official college transcripts reflecting all college credits earned at other regionally accredited institutions previously attended.                                                                                           

Note: unofficial transcripts may be submitted to complete the admission process, but they will not be evaluated for transfer credits and official transcripts will still be required for future enrollment and transfer credit evaluation.

City Colleges of Chicago offers free college-level classes to high school students through our Dual Enrollment and Dual Credit* programs. These programs helps students reduce the amount of time and money needed to complete two- and four-year degrees                                                                                           

To start, visit ccc.edu/apply and fill out an online application for admissions. Next, download the Early College Registration checklist [PDF] and follow the steps to complete the registration process.​
