The Richard J. Daley Career Development Department supports students to explore various career paths and make a career plan, create or update a resume, write a cover letter, find internships and apprenticeships, prepare for an interview, and create or improve upon a LinkedIn profile. The Career Development Department serves credit and adult education students.

Create a Posting for Current Openings: Create a profile and post to Handshake, an online job and internship platform, to help students and alumni find meaningful careers.      

 
On-Campus Events (require completion of a Tabling Activities Permit and submission of a Certificate of Insurance, annually)
  • Recruiting: This is a great way for employers to advertise positions right on campus! Career Services will set you up with a table on campus so you can meet and greet our students and conduct an initial screen.   • Guest Speakers:  Our campus is filled with students interested in a variety of fields. From manufacturing to business and childhood education, students can benefit from professionals speaking of their experience and industry.   • Host a Workshop or Event: Are you interested in hosting a large event or workshop that will teach our students a skill or orient them to a particular career field? Learn more by contacting a member of our team at dac-careerdev@ccc.edu​.
  • Attend a Career Fair on our Campus:  Career Fairs aligned with student interests and different academic programs are held regularly in-person at one of the City Colleges of Chicago sites or virtually.
