The Pre-College Health Science Scholars Summer Program
The Health Science Summer Program’s mission is to prepare  Chicago African-American high school students for a career in health  science.  The Health Science Summer  Program is an intensive academic program intended for rising sophomores through  seniors interested in pursuing a career in science.

The Black Male  Institute Bi-Annual Conference
  What is it?
  A Black Male Conference for Chicago Public School Black Male  students & black male City Colleges of Chicago students
Who do we target for the panel?
  Prominent and young Black Males who have attained success  through education, and “Game changers” who have defied insurmountable odds
Why?
  If not us, then who?   Changing the narrative and Improving the lives of Black males is an  important initiative for Malcolm X College, the city of Chicago, and the United  States of America. In addition, Malcolm X College was awarded a grant in 2015  from The Department of Education around this effort.
Purpose of The Conference
  -A platform to promote and display prominent black male  educational & life success
  -An opportunity to influence, change, and redirect the black  male message
  The conference is open to Chicago Public School 7th through  12th grade students and school appointed chaperones.  School Buses and lunch are also provided!

 The Science Is  Cool Bi-Annual Conference
The Science is Cool Conference is an initiative of Malcolm X  College’s Pipeline to Careers in Healthcare grant funded by the United States  Department of Education. The conference is designed to promote and encourage  African- American elementary students in the fields of Science Technology  Engineering and Math (STEM) and understand that life as we know it, can be made  better through the use of STEM.
The conference is open to Chicago Public School 5th through 8th grade students and school appointed chaperones. School Buses and lunch are also provided!
