Business Services is responsible for protecting the assets of the college by ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to while maintaining the financial integrity of the college.

The Business Services Office at Malcolm X College offers a wide range of services to support students, faculty, and staff. Our team assists students with financial transactions, third-party tuition assistance, and other essential academic support services.

In addition, Business Services provides administrative support in areas such as procurement, contract compliance, conference and travel authorization, and grants management.

Electronic Payment Portal

This payment portal is for non-tuition related charges and fees only, including graduation fees, childcare services, print services, and exam fees.

To make a payment using Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, or E-check, please click here. You will be redirected to a secure webpage customized for City Colleges of Chicago but operated by the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office.

  • Navigate to make a one-time payment or login.
  • Select the payment category and payment type.
  • Once the transaction is finalized, an automatic receipt will be sent via email. Payments will be processed within 1-2 business days.

Facility Rental Payments

To make an online payment for facility rental(s) click here. We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express credit cards or E-checks. Please note, you will be redirected to a secure webpage customized for City Colleges of Chicago but operated by the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office.

  • Navigate to select the payment category and payment type (Malcolm X College). 
  • Enter event information in the required fields
