The Malcolm X College Wellness Center Team welcomes Master’s graduate students in clinical/counseling psychology or social work seeking a Therapy practicum placement and Doctoral graduate students seeking a Diagnostic or Advanced practicum placement.
Our team is multi-disciplinary and celebrates diversity. We have a robust training program and a lively workplace!

Supervisor Philosophy: With four (4) full-time licensed clinicians on staff, supervision is central to our training experience. Everyone receives 1 hour of weekly individual supervision with their primary supervisor, 2-3 hours of Group Supervision weekly, 1-3 hours monthly with a secondary supervisor, in-session consultation, and daily open door policy access to licensed clinicians. You are supported in your clinical work at all times.
