Sterile Processing Technician - Careers and Resources

Program Schedule

The Sterile Processing Technician program at Malcolm X is a two-semester program beginning each Fall. The first semester courses are held on campus three evenings a week. The second semester is spent at various hospitals throughout the Chicago and suburban areas. The clinical student will attend clinical rotations four days a week either from 6:30 am until 3:00 pm or 3:00 pm until 11:30 pm each assigned day. Upon completion of the program, the graduate will be eligible to sit for the Certified Central Service Technician Exam.
