Mission Statement
         

The program strives to empower students of diverse backgrounds and abilities to achieve academic career and personal success. The program provides graduates with a level of preparation to become licensed, certified and employed entry level radiographers upon completion of all program requirements.          

Program Goals            

  • Students will be clinically competent.
  • Students will communicate effectively.
  • Students will use critical thinking skills.

Student Learning Outcomes

Glossary of Terms           

     
Enrollment/Students Entering Program:             
The number of students enrolled in the program for the first time in the Spring or Fall semester with the potential to complete in the fiscal year.           
Completion:           
The percent of the total students in the enrollment cohortsᵻ that completed the degree within the 150% timeframe (six semesters) of the program.            
Exam Pass Rate:           
The percent of graduatesᶤ who passed the certification exam (ARRT) out of those graduatesᶤ who took the exam on the first attempt.            
Employment Rate:           
Defined as the number of graduatesᶤ employed in the radiologic sciences​ compared to the number of graduates actively seeking employment in the radiological sciences. (JCERT Standard 5.2). The percent of graduatesᶤ that are employed as a radiographer within the first twelve months after program completion. Some students went back to school, did not enter the job market and or could not be reached by the program director through surveys, emails, phone calls, or social media.       
ᵻ Enrollment Cohort:           
Students that enrolled in the program for the first time in the Spring or Fall semester of the specified fiscal year are designated as an enrollment cohort for that semester in the fiscal year. There is one enrollment cohort for this program per fiscal year.             
ᶤ Graduates:            
Students that completed the program in the same fiscal year.
