The Automotive Technology program provides the necessary foundation and practical experience to pursue entry-level positions that meet the changing demands of the automotive industry.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
Olive-Harvey College’s Automotive Technology Program consists of a Basic Certificate, Advanced Certificate and Associate Degree Programs. Eligibility for English 101 and Math 90 or 98 are required. High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic Certificate – 5 Courses (20 credit hours): AUTOTEC 101, 103, 104, 109, 209
- Advanced Certificate – 11 Courses (46 credit hours): All AUTOTEC Courses
- Associates in Applied Science – 18 Courses (66 credit hours): All AUTOTEC Courses and 7 General Education Courses

- Automotive Service Technician
- Automotive Service Mechanic

Meeting times vary, Monday through Saturday
TUITION
- $146 per credit hour
- Payment methods include self-pay, Workforce Investment Opportunities Act (WIOA) and Chicago Housing Authority or Illinois Veterans Grant
- Students can us PELL, MAP or Stafford Loans as means to satisfy tuition payment
- Financial Aid eligible
