89.3 WKKC-FM Radio is a 250 Watt Class-A non-commercial radio station, located on the campus of Kennedy-King College.
WKKC one radio station with 2 frequencies, WKKC-FM & HD1 and WKKC-HD2. Both are broadcast within a 5 mile radius of Kennedy-King College, 6301 South Halsted Street in Chicago, Illinois at 89.3FM and High Definition Radios. You can use this link: Listen or click on the Listen Tab in the main menu to hear the stream of both frequencies. WKKC can also be heard on mobile devices with the free Tunein App.
WKKC-FM & HD1 Chicago broadcasts an Urban Adult Contemporary format, featuring music from Urban, Rhythmic, and Urban Adult Contemporary charts. We prioritize offering non-offensive music to our listeners. From 10 am to 5 pm, students from the City Colleges of Chicago host shows, gaining hands-on experience in radio broadcasting. Outside these hours, our programming is automated.
