Director of the Wellness Center
Eric is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. Prior to working at Harold Washington, Eric worked as Assistant Director at Response, an adolescent and young adult program of Jewish Child and Family Services in Skokie for almost six years. There he directed counseling services, prevention education services, and sexual health care services, in addition to working with the board, developing grants, building relationships with community members, and supervising interns. Prior to Eric’s Response experience, he supervised clinicians at one of JCFS’s Community Counseling Centers, and before that, supervised group comes caring for youth in the child welfare system. Eric has presented at conferences, consulted with various institutions, and runs his own private practice focused on working with adolescents.
Yurianna Reyes, LCPC
Clinical Counselor
Yurianna is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a degree in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Yurianna has worked in both non-profit and private practice settings. Her area of expertise centers on work with adult survivors of trauma. She has experience in addressing the impact of various traumas, including sexual assault, domestic violence, physical abuse, and child abuse. Yurianna also specializing in working with the unique challenges faced by immigrant and refugee populations, including grief/loss and discrimination. As a bilingual and bicultural clinician, Yurianna is available to provide services in English and Spanish.
Janea Vinson, LMFT
Clinical Counselor, TRIO-SSS Program
Janea is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Adler University (Adler School of Professional Psychology). She has previous work experience in the nonprofit setting and ongoing experience within private practice.
It is through holistic, systemic, and strength-based approaches that Janea works with clients to collaboratively address transition and adjustment, anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity development, as well as strengthen relationships. She is a culturally-sensitive clinician, who fosters a safe space and remains client-centered to promote change. Janea currently serves as the Clinical Counselor for the TRIO-SSS program at Harold Washington College.
