Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Club (STEM)
Our goals as the Science, Technology,
Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Club are:
- To
serve as a general support group and advocate for all City Colleges of Chicago students, staff and faculty at the City Colleges of Chicago.
- To
promote education of the rich and diverse branches of the STEM field and its collection of majors.
- To
bring knowledge from the classroom setting to real world scenarios.
- To
bridge Harold Washington College’s students with STEM majors with STEM major
students at other City Colleges of Chicago campuses.
- Membership is open to all City
Colleges of Chicago students currently enrolled in credit courses, including
students enrolled in pre-credit classes. Join us by signing up on our emailing

Altitude Ballooning

series of independent scientific research opportunities that revolve around weather
balloons and experimentation.
Computer
Society

student run group that fuels conversations and brainstorm sessions about the
ever-growing technological industry.

of Hispanic Professional Engineers

A
student chapter of the national organization (SHPE) that serves our STEM
community through volunteer work and networking.
Electrical
Engineering

A
student run group that applies the rules of electricity and magnetism to
collaborative projects.
