The mission of the Humanities Department is to provide a holistic education. Our faculty strive to create an atmosphere of learning, free inquiry, critical thinking, creativity and communication. Such skills will help students excel in their academic and professional endeavors.
In addition to offering general education courses in Humanities, World Languages, Music, Philosophy, Religion, and the Arts, the department seeks to prepare students for the world at large by increasing the breadth of the education they have acquired through the college’s general education courses.
