Harry S Truman College is a Certified Training Provider for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is a law that provides training for people who are out of work, who need training to change career paths, or whose skills need improving in order to obtain a new job. You must be determined eligible in order to receive WIOA funds. Truman College offers training programs but does not determine eligibility for WIOA training funds.
WIOA funding can provide up to $8,000 toward tuition, along with coverage for textbooks, depending on the specific program a student selects. However, it may not cover all program-related expenses, and students could be responsible for some out-of-pocket costs.
Eligibility for WIOA funding does not guarantee eligibility for individual programs. Each program has its own entrance requirements. We encourage you to review your program of study in our academic catalog for detailed information – https://catalog.ccc.edu/programs/
