CCC Alert
CCC Alert is City Colleges of Chicago’s emergency notification system, which notifies you quickly in the event of an emergency via email, text message, and/or voice messages.
Students
As a current CCC student, you will receive emergency notifications in the event of an emergency, school closing due to weather, etc.
- An email will be sent to the personal and ccc email addresses in My.CCC.edu
- A text or phone message will be left on any Home, Cell, Business, or TTY phone numbers entered in My.CCC.edu
How do I add or update my personal email address or mobile phone number for password reset?
To verify and/or update your personal email or mobile phone, log in to My.CCC.edu and go to: Profile > Contact Details
Hover over your Home email address or Mobile phone and click to change.
Note: It may take up to 20 minutes from the time you update your email address or phone number in My.CCC.edu for these to be available for password reset
If you do not see a phone number, click “Add Phone”. You must select Mobile phone type to be able to use your number for password reset.
Employees
As a current CCC employee, you will receive emergency notifications in the event of an emergency, school closing due to weather, etc.
- An email will be sent to the Preferred Email Address in HR Self Service
- A text or phone message will be left on any Home, Cell, Business, or TTY phone numbers entered in HR Self Service.
To add or update your mobile, home phone numbers, and non-ccc email addresses, log into HR Self Service and click on Personal Information > Phone Numbers.
Note: It may take up to 24 hours from the time you update your email address or phone number in Hr.CCC.edu for these to be available for password reset.
Consultants
Consultants working for CCC should contact their hiring manager to get added to the CCC Alert system.
