City Colleges Math Prep

City Colleges Math PrepCity Colleges Math Prep (formerly known as Level Up Math or Math Bootcamp) will prepare you for college-level coursework in a college environment. You'll develop a support system with peers, faculty, and staff—and get involved with a close ​community of highly motivated peers and supportive teachers.

  • Free for students
  • Located at each of the City Colleges of Chicago
  • Large collaborative spaces and student-centered
  • Students move at their own pace
  • Two models to choose from:
    • ​1-2 weeks before each semester (all 7 City Colleges) -> Beginning August 5
    • 8-week summer semester (Kennedy-King College) -> Dates TBD

Here are the three steps you MUST complete in order to be ready for the first day of City Colleges Math Prep

  1. ​Please apply to the City Colleges of Chicago.
  2. Once you have applied to CCC and you receive your Student ID number, take the CCC placement assessments.

    Take time to prepare for the placement exam! Your success on this test may mean the difference between 4 weeks and 48 weeks of developmental coursework.
