City Colleges of Chicago is pleased to offer a variety of benefit plans for calendar year 2024 to its eligible employees, retirees, and surviving spouses. Open Enrollment is your opportunity to review and select changes in benefits for next year. Please see the benefit summary guides below for full-time and part-time employees respectively.
All changes are effective January 1, 2024. Employees do not need to re-enroll unless:
- Adding or dropping dependents
- Increasing/decreasing voluntary life
- Enrolling in or changing plans
- Enrolling in Flexible Spending Accounts
If you miss the enrollment deadline your next opportunity to enroll would be next fall unless you experience a Qualifying Life Event (QLE).

Events Dates Times Virtual Benefit Fair Registration Video Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Virtual Benefit Fair Registration Video Wednesay, November 1st, 2023 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM *Register in advance for the session, after you register, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

- Any employee adding new dependents will be required to provide proof of the relationship. Any increases or new enrollments to voluntary life will require an Evidence of Insurability (EOI) Approval
