
Credit for Prior Learning for the BACP Entrepreneur Certificate Program
City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) has partnered with The Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP) to award college credit for those who graduate from the BACP Entrepreneur Certificate Program.
To receive college credit at CCC, BACP Entrepreneur Certificate Program graduates must do the following:
- Apply, gain admission, and enroll at one of the seven CCC locations.
- Enroll in the BACP Entrepreneur Certificate Program and completed 6 webinars as per program criteria. .
- Submit a copy of the Program Certificate to the Registrar’s office.
- Complete the CPL Consent Form and select Challenge Exam – BUS 111
- Submit $100 payment to the Business office in person or via approved electronic payment process, after approval exam confirmation has been emailed to student.
- Receive a communication to schedule an appointment with your testing proctor and to complete a FERPA release form to share exam data with BACP. To complete the FERPA release form, log on to my.ccc.edu, navigate to Profile, select FERPA Auth – Organization, then select BACP Consent to complete the data consent authorization.
- After competition of exams, results will be reviewed and submitted to the registrar’s office.
- College credit will be placed on your student record.

Transfer of this credit to a 4-year college/university is not guaranteed. Students seeking to transfer this credit to another institution will need to contact the institution to determine if the credit will be accepted.
