Starting on November 6, Chicagoans can take classes for
college credit at any of the seven City Colleges of Chicago or its five
satellite sites to earn basic and advanced certificates or an associate degree.
Each college offers a wide array of general education classes; specializes in a
focused, in-demand field; and provides the resources that students need to be
successful as they prepare to transfer or find jobs or internships. Many
locations also offer non-credit classes: free English as a Second Language
classes, free high school equivalency (GED) preparation classes, and continuing
education classes.
As the largest community college system in Illinois and the
largest higher education institution in the city, City Colleges gives students
quality and relevant programs at an affordable rate. There are many ways that
City Colleges students can pay for their education, including scholarships,
financial aid, and a monthly payment plan. To learn more, visit

All Spring 2019 credit courses are listed at
www.ccc.edu/ClassSchedules. Courses labeled “IAI” in the City Colleges academic
catalog have been approved by the Illinois Articulation Initiative and will easily
transfer to the more than 100 Illinois colleges and universities participating
in IAI. City Colleges of Chicago provides students flexibility when creating
their schedule, with courses offered during the day, in the evening, on
weekends, and also online.
