Students from across the city are working toward their academic
goals, pursuing basic and advanced certificates or an associate degree at one
of the seven City Colleges or its five satellite locations.
Each college offers general education classes while
specializing in a focused, in-demand field like healthcare, manufacturing,
information technology, business and professional services, culinary and
hospitality, and transportation, distribution, and logistics. Many locations
also offer non-credit classes: free English as a Second Language classes, free
high school equivalency (GED or HiSET) preparation classes, and continuing
education classes.
