Mission
Fueled by the generosity of Chicago's philanthropic community, the City Colleges of Chicago Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, raises charitable contributions to support community college students from all backgrounds in reaching their academic and career goals.

The cumulative impact of a gift to CCCF is far-reaching. Contributions support:          
  • ​Innovative programming that prepares students for the future workforce and forges clear pathways to college from Chicago Public Schools;
  • Scholarships that create access to a quality, affordable education; 
  • And student supports from emergency funding to housing coordination that ensure CCC is meeting the needs of all students.

The Foundation
​Established on August 20, 1971, the City Colleges of Chicago Foundation (CCCF) exists to secure philanthropic resources to support a wide array of educational programs and services available to support the students, alumni, faculty and staff of City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) through various programs and initiatives.

        
The Foundation is a separate not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, governed by an independent board of directors. The Foundation focuses on providing financially for the needs of the City Colleges of Chicago that cannot be met through government funding or student tuition income. CCCF has awarded millions of dollars in Scholarships since 2010, which has helped support student persistence and completion.      

        
Rhonda K. Brown is president of City Colleges of Chicago Foundation. For 22 years she has been working i the not-for-profit sector leading advancement initiatives that build capacity and awareness in the arts, healthcare and higher education.​      


The City Colleges of Chicago Foundation has awarded millions of dollars in scholarships since 2010, which has helped support student persistence and completion.

MAYOR LIGHTFOOT AND KENNEDY-KING COLLEGE ANNOUNCE TECH LAUNCHPAD TO CLOSE INDUSTRY EQUITY GAPS 

SDI Presence has made a $1 million gift to Kennedy-King College to support the Tech LaunchPad and support its efforts to increase equity in the tech field, and has provided more than 20 City Colleges students with work-based learning experiences in the technology field.​ Read more here. 


 

CITY COLLEGES OF CHICAGO'S KENNEDY-KING COLLEGE AWARDED HISTORIC $5 MILLION GIFT BY MACKENZIE SCOTT 

City Colleges of Chicago’s Kennedy-King College is proud to announce it has been selected as the recipient of a $5 million gift from MacKenzie Scott. The gift is the largest gift by any single private donor to Kennedy-King College and City Colleges of Chicago Foundation on record.​ Read more here​.
