In the wake of both a health and social crisis, there could be no better time to Transform Your Life than through the 8th Annual Transfer-Mation Leadership Conference.
At City Colleges of Chicago, we see, you - the whole you; and through this event, we will offer you opportunities to interact with your peers and share experiences that will not only impact how you transition to a 4-year institution, but will change the way you view and interact with your world.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER
 Tina Watson is an analyst at Toyota North America working in Talent Acquisition as a College Recruiter. She is responsible for filling more than 100 co-op and/or trainee positions annually across various engineering functions in North America, including: all manufacturing sites, Production Engineering, Quality, Operations Management Development Division and Service, Parts & Accessories Development.

    
Tina is a Chicago-native, raised in the Englewood community on the Southside. She is a proud graduate of Kennedy-King College (2015), one of the City Colleges of Chicago, with an Associate in Art Degree with highest honors.  In May 2017, Tina graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee. During her senior year, Tina received a full-time offer to begin her career at Toyota North America, working in Talent Acquisition.      

    
Tina currently resides in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metropolis, embracing new adventures in Texas. She enjoys serving at her church, One Community (Plano), in various roles: Life Group leader (Women of Grace), the A/V team (cameraperson) and Data One team lead. Tina looks forward to assisting college students as they “challenge what’s possible” at Toyota and beyond, as she continues to pursue a career that allows her to impact the field of higher education in the corporate setting in a tangible way.

Show Me the Money: Scholarship Winning 101

PTK is the Honors Society for two-year students. Speak with Rockstar Leaders of Truman College’s Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Chapter about how to apply and actually win scholarships! They will teach you some tips and tricks to help make your scholarship application stand out!

Rockstar Students often have questions about how to ask their professors, advisors or mentors for letters of recommendation! Get advice from a Wright College advisor/adjunct faculty on exactly how to ask for letters of recommendation for admission to your dream schools or to win scholarships!
