2022 SEVEN STRONG SPEAKER SERIES COMES TO A SUCCESSFUL CLOSE WITH BREAKFAST PANEL AT MALCOLM X COLLEGE
The 2022 City Colleges of Chicago Foundation Seven Strong Speaker Series came to a successful close on Wednesday, May 25, with an invited breakfast audience of more than 200 and a live-streamed panel discussion, "A Call to Action for Equity and Inclusion," at City College's Malcolm X College. The event included the presentation of the Ella Flagg Young Award to Accenture, accepted by Accenture's Chicago Managing Partner, Jim Coleman.
Mr. Coleman joined moderator Nicole Johnson Scales, CEO, NJS Consulting, and panelists Pedro Martinez, CEO, Chicago Public Schools, and Juan Salgado, Chancellor, City Colleges of Chicago, for the panel discussion, the fifth and final presentation in the 2022 series. The event was live-streamed to an Internet audience.
The 2022 Seven Strong Speaker Series, "Essential Inclusion: Solutions for a Vibrant Chicago," was a fundraiser for the City Colleges of Chicago Foundation in its support of community college students from all backgrounds in reaching their academic and career goals.
