| Who is provided with a CCC student email account? |
| Every student currently enrolled at the City Colleges of Chicago is assigned an email account. All email communication from the City Colleges will be sent to this address, so please check it regularly. |
| How can I access my Student Email? |
| Student Email System is available via any web browser at http://student.ccc.edu |
| How do I find out what my Student Email Address is? |
| You must retrieve your Student Email Address (which is the same as your Student Username) by going to http://student.ccc.edu and following the instructions. You will need to know your Student ID Number and your birth date. You will be asked to choose a new password and select a challenge question. |
| What is the difference between my Student Email address and my Student Username? |
| There is no difference. You can use your Student Username to login to both your Student Email account, My.CCC.edu Online Registration and CCC.Blackboard.com. |
| What if I would like to have my CCC Student Email forward to another email address? |
Follow these instructions to have your CCC Student Email forwarded to another email address.

| What if I am not able to retrieve my email account? |
| Your date of birth may be incorrect in the CCC student system. You should contact the Registrar's Office at your college to confirm that your personal data is correct. |
| What if I am not able to access my email account? |
| Contact support by going to http://student.ccc.edu and click Contact Email Support. |
| What if I forget my password? |
| Visit http://student.ccc.edu and click Reset your Password. After you have identified yourself (using your Student ID Number and birth date) you must correctly answer your Challenge Question to reset your password. |
| How much does a student email account cost? |
| Your student email account is free of charge while you are enrolled in classes at the City Colleges. |
| How big is my mail box? |
| Your Student Email account allows you to store up to 5MBs of documents. It is your responsibility to remove unnecessary documents to make room for new email. |
| How long can I keep my account? |
| Your account will be available to you while you are a registered student at the City Colleges of Chicago. |
| What kind of privacy am I assured when I use my Student Email account? |
| CCC will not publish your email address in any directory and your email messages are protected from access by other users. You should never disclose your password to others and if you regularly access your account at a public location you should change your password on a regular basis for your own protection. You should be aware that email sent from or received by your account is stored on CCC media and can be retrieved by properly authorized individuals under certain circumstances. |
