City Colleges of Chicago looks to provide a sustainable education by:      

  • accepting students of all academic backgrounds, whether pursuing degrees, obtaining certificates or taking noncredit courses for career advancement or personal enrichment                   

  • providing quality, affordable education to students                      

  • pursuing best environmental practice in student engagement and facilities management, to do our part today and teach the stewards of tomorrow

Our commitment is to create an institution that ensures both student access and success, with goals that include:             

  • increasing the number of students earning college credentials of economic value                      
  • increasing the rate of transfer to bachelor’s degree programs following CCC graduation                      
  • drastically improving outcomes for students requiring remediation                      
  • increasing the number and share of Adult Basic Education, GED and ESL students who advance to and succeed in college‐level courses.

Looking to make college affordable with cost‐effective tuition and fees, City Colleges of Chicago offers flexible payment plans, financial aid eligible programing and scholarship resources.    Through the College to Careers​ initiative, City Colleges of Chicago faculty and staff members work with our industry partners to train students for careers in high‐demand and high‐growth fields, providing meaningful certificate and associates degree programs to help  students secure jobs after graduation.​
