Malcolm X Parking Alternatives

Parking Access

To enter the garage, use either Jackson Blvd. or Wood Street (see map).

Visitors

The new garage will have a gate and will require visitors to take a parking ticket to enter the structure and use a validated ticket to exit the garage. Visitors coming on campus to register, use the public computer lab, attend a college meeting, or other authorized purposes can have the ticket validated at the MXC Security Office, events planning (for special events), or at the Security desk at the main entrance on Jackson to allow free access to the lot.

MXC faculty, staff and students

MXC faculty, staff and students will use their ID badges to enter and exit the garage.

Members of City Colleges Community

If you are a CCC faculty, staff or student and a frequent visitor to MXC, you can request to have your CCC badge activated to use it to enter the garage by completing the necessary form in the MXC Security Office.

Important Notes

Anyone parking in the garage without an authorized reason is subject to a $50 fine.

There are no overnight parking privileges. All cars must be removed from the garage each night by 11:00 p.m. to avoid towing at the owners' expense.

There are no reserved parking spaces; parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
