Eligible Properties

The home must be located within the City of Chicago.  Eligible properties include single family, duplex or multiple use properties, or condominiums.  Again, the City Colleges of Chicago will provide financial assistance in the amount of $3,000 for the purchase of a home within the City of Chicago or $7,500 for the purchase of a home in the new Mixed Income Developments.  See listing below for New Mixed Income Developments within the City of Chicago.

Property Requirements

All properties must have a Home Inspection performed by a company that is a full member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI).  If a Federal Housing Administration (FHA) loan is made the property must conform to all FHA standards prior to closing.
