Regular Board Meetings:
A regular meeting of the Board is scheduled on the first Thursday of each month at a time and location designated by the Chairman of the Board. All meetings of the Board are held in accordance with provisions of the Illinois Open Meetings Act and other applicable laws concerning the conduct of meetings.
In accordance with the Rules for the Management and Government of the City Colleges, the Board has three standing Committees and one ad hoc committee which meet on a quarterly basis.
How to Address the Board:
All individuals who would like to address the Board during the public comment portion of a board meeting should
e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the Board meeting at which he or she wishes to speak. Your subject matter must be included in your request. You may also fax your request to 312.553.2529, Attention: Board Office.
Individuals with disabilities who plan to attend
a Board meeting and who require reasonable accommodations in order to observe
and/or participate in the meeting, or who have questions regarding the
accessibility of the meeting facilities, are required to contact the Board Office, at (312) 553-2515 at least 48 hours
prior to the meeting
Board of Trustees Membership:
The City Colleges of Chicago Board is comprised of seven voting members serving three-year terms as appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council of Chicago.
