Aspire a Mas Scholarship Fund
The purpose of the Aspire a Mas Scholarship Fund is to provide financial assistance to deserving Hispanic/Latino students. Scholarship awards are to be used to defray educational costs while enrolled at Richard J. Daley College or the Arturo Velasquez West Side Technical Institute.
Award Amount: Two $250 awards per year Application Deadline: October 1, 2012

Richard J. Daley College Scholarship Fund
The Richard J. Daley College Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance for deserving students based upon scholastic merit (exclusive of financial need) or based upon financial need. Scholarship awards are to be used to defray educational costs (tuition, fees, or books) while enrolled at Richard J. Daley College or the Arturo Velasquez West Side Technical Institute.

Arturo Velasquez Scholarship Fund
The Arturo Velasquez Scholarship Fund was established to provide financial assistance for deserving students enrolled at the Arturo Velasquez Institute. Scholarship awards are to be used to defray educational costs (tuition, fees, or books).

Oscar E. Shabat Wright College Scholarship Fund
The Oscar E. Shabat Scholarship Fund was established to honor Dr. Oscar E. Shabat, founding Chancellor of the City Colleges of Chicago, and former professor of Social Sciences at Wright College. The purpose of the fund is to provide financial assistance for deserving students based upon scholastic merit (exclusive of financial need) or based upon financial need. Scholarship awards are to be used to defray educational costs (tuition, fees, or books) while enrolled at Wilbur Wright College or Humboldt Park Vocational Education Center.

Kennedy-King College Scholarship Fund
The Kennedy-King College Scholarship Fund was established to provide financial assistance for deserving students based upon financial need, and/or scholastic merit. Scholarship funds are to be used to defray educational costs (tuition, fees, or books) while enrolled at Kennedy-King College, Dawson Technical Institute, or Washburne Culinary Institute.
Award Amount: Need based scholarship up to $1,500 to be applied to the students financial account Application Deadline: November 30, 2012

Malcolm X College President
The President's scholarship fund provides financial assistance to defray educational costs (including tuition, fees, and books) for students who demonstrate academic excellence. Eligible recipients must maintain full-time enrollment status at Malcolm X College.
Award Amount: New students up to $500 per semester. Continuing students up to $750 per semester Application Deadline: December 1, 2012

Harold Washington College Scholarship Fund
The Harold Washington College Scholarship Fund was established to provide financial assistance for deserving students based upon scholastic merit (exclusive of financial need) and/or based upon financial need. Scholarship awards are to be used to defray educational costs (tuition, fees, books, transportation, or other critical necessities) while enrolled at Harold Washington College. This scholarship may be renewable depending on eligibility criteria and funding availability.

Florence Ballenger Scholarships
The Florence Ballenger Scholarships provide financial support to students who have demonstrated academic excellence and commitment to civic service. The scholarship is credited to a balance in the student's account resulting from tuition charges, fees or the cost of books and supplies, after all federal and state awards have been applied.
Award Amount: Up to $2,500 per semester (based upon availability of funds)

United Center Neighborhood Grant
The United Center Neighborhood Grant at Malcolm X College is available to qualified incoming students who have graduated from an accredited high school or successfully completed their GED credential. Eligible awardees must maintain full-time enrollment status during the award period. The grant has a maximum value of $2,280 per academic year.

United Center Joint Venture
Students must be in pursuit of a first degree. This award is based on full-time enrollment and covers tuition, fees, books and other educational costs. This scholarship is awarded to freshman and continuing students of Malcolm X College.

Chicago Police and Fire Training Academy Scholarship
The Chicago Police and Fire Academy (CPFTA) Training Scholarships are tuition and fee-based scholarships. Students whose tuition expense is met through a Pell Grant, Monetary Award Program (MAP) or other financial awards are not eligible to receive this scholarship. Students with remaining need after financial aid funds have been applied will have the difference of their applicable charges applied to their accounts by the CPFTA Scholarship.

Mary H. Johnson Book Scholarship at Malcolm X College
The purpose of the Mary H. Johnson Book Scholarship at Malcolm X College is to assist deserving students pursuing any associates degree or vocational certificate. Scholarship awards are to be used to defray the cost of books (text books, reference books or workbooks) as outlined in the syllabus of a City Colleges of Chicago course in which an applicant is enrolled.
