Request a Military Transcript

You can request a transcript of your military training and experience by visiting the sites below. The Veterans Services Specialist at your college can assist you with this process and explain the policy for awarding college credit for military education and duties.

  • Army, Army National Guard, and US Army Reserve - transcripts are provided by the Army/American Council on Education Registry Transcript System (AARTS).

  • Navy and Marine Corps - the Sailor/Marine American Council on Education Registry Transcript (SMART) is an academically accepted document approved by the American Council on Education (ACE) to validate a service member's military occupational experience and training along with the corresponding ACE college credit recommendations.

  • Air Force, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve - all current and former active duty, guard, and reserve Air Force members can order a transcript free of charge through the CCAF online system.

  • Coast Guard - official documentation of military learning experiences to send to colleges.
