Apply to the Nursing Program

City Colleges of Chicago is pleased to announce two program changes.
  1. Eligible students may apply to the Practical Nursing program and the AAS program throughout the year.
  2. The AAS program will admit students twice a year—fall and spring semesters. The PN program and the LPN Bridge pathway admission will admit once a year.
How to Apply

Prospective A.A.S. Degree and LPN Bridge students complete the A.A.S. Degree in Nursing online application

Prospective Practical Nursing students complete the Practical Nursing online application.

How Does The Application Process Work?

All prospective students must apply via a centralized, online application form, located on the City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) nursing web page. The online is reviewed by the Office of the Registrar and the CCC Nursing Program Admissions Committee.
Step 1: Review the program admission requirements.

Step 2: Complete the online application form.

Step 3: The Office of the Registrar will review the application to determine eligibility.

Step 4: An email will be sent to the CCC email account notifying you about your admission status.

If the Office of the Registrar confirms the application as qualified:

Step 5: The Office of the Registrar will send an information packet about how to apply for the ATI TEAS exam. Please do not register for the exam until directed by the Office of the Registrar. ATI TEAS exams must be taken at one of the City Colleges of Chicago.

Step 6: Once the ATI TEAS exam scores are at or above the required scores, an email will be received containing a clinical information packet and a welcome letter from the City Colleges of Chicago School of Nursing (CCCSON).

Step 7: An email will be received from the CCCSON with information about mandatory orientation dates.
Submission of an application to the Nursing program does not guarantee admission. Applicants who meet all admission criteria will be considered for admission into the nursing program.
