Welcome Week 2013 is an opportunity for new students to learn about campus resources and student life. For returning students, it is an opportunity to re-connect and re-establish themselves on the road to completion. For families, it is an opportunity to learn about Wright College, our Faculty/Staff, Administration and our programs.  Welcome Week will grant all students the opportunity to establish an academic and community connection at Wright College. 

 

 

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2013

CAMPUS TOURS, CHECK-IN AT GATEWAY, A-120

10:00AM        Wright is an architecturally beautiful building but it is also confusing to know where you are going.  Get a tour to help orientate you to the campus and maybe even discover some new areas that you have yet to discover.

 

FRESHMAN CONVOCATION & PLANTING CEREMONY, EVENT THEATER – ATRIUM

1:30PM          This event is a formal welcome to all new students at Wright College. New students will receive encouragement and words of inspiration from a current student, successful alumni, faculty, members of the Student Services team and the College President. The purpose of this event is to foster a sense of Wright College pride within our student body. Following the formal program participants will process outside for a tree planting ceremony and conclude with a welcome reception.

WILBURPALOOZA/RESOURCE FAIL/CLUB EXPO

 

10:00AM        Find the Wright Way to Success! Student Government will host a Welcome Back/Club Expo/Resource Fair that serves as collaboration between the entire Wright College Community. Students will be guided on the Wright Way to Success, which will take them to the various support services that we have available to them. They will earn stamps as they proceed through the map and after 8 stamps the students will be rewarded with their ticket to the celebrations/community building activities provided by Wilburpalooza.
