Student Services

Wright in Your Corner assists students of all ability levels by supporting and improving academic skills. We provide a range of services, including tutoring, academic and career coaching, and a wide range of workshops. Specific services include:           
 
Tutoring – COMPASS test preparation and individual assistance in writing and mathematics.                        
 
Coaching – Assistance with choosing degree and certificate programs, course selection,  transfer plans, job search strategies, and resume building.                  
 
Workshops – Topics include:           

• Soft Skills Development
• Exploring Majors
• Transitioning to College
• Time and Stress Management
• Goal Setting
• Effective Communication
 
Wright in Your Corner also collaborates with student support services to host events related to achieving academic and personal goals (i.e., resume building, interview skills, transfer planning, study skills, personal and professional growth).

Leadership – WiYC provides students the opportunity to build leadership skills, grow professionally, and give back to their community through the Peer Mentor Leadership Program. For more information, please visit the Peer Mentor site for additional information.
