Interlibrary Loan

Who can request books via interlibrary loan?

City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) faculty, students, and staff can request that books from any of the seven CCC Libraries be sent to Wright College Library.

How do I request books?

You may make your request via the Library's online system Primo. If you need assistance please contact the Library at 773-481-8400.

If books are not available via the City Colleges of Chicago libraries you may contact the Chicago Public Library to check their availability.

How long does it take for books to arrive through interlibrary?

It usually takes 7-10 business days for books to arrive via interlibrary loan. When books arrive you will be notified by email or phone. If you need a book immediately we suggest visiting the library and checking the book with your student I.D. or employee I.D.

How do I renew my interlibrary loan books?

Visit book checkout to see if your interlibrary loan book is available for renewal. Each college library has different interlibrary loan policies, and we must follow the policies of the borrowing library.

My interlibrary loan books are late. Who do I pay the fines?

Fines are set by the borrowing library, and arrangements for payment must be made with the borrowing library's staff.
