City Colleges of Chicago has partnerships and agreements with colleges and universities across the country. Chicago Scholars Partner - Chicago Scholars is a non-profit organization that assists high school students in the application and interview process for top colleges and universities across the country. They have collaborated with City Collages of Chicago to provide our community college students with the same opportunity. During an onsite event, students are able to ​receive on the spot decisions of acceptance as well as the potential to receive a financial package to help them pay for their education. Compact Agreement Partner - The Compact Agreement is an agreement between community colleges and 4-yr. institutions in the state of Illinois. Students who complete the General Education Core Curriculum or the AA or AS degree will be granted junior standing or considered having met the lower division general education requirements at a 4-year institution.​ Click on the iTransfer logo below to learn more about the colleges and universities that are part of the compact agreement.

​DePaul  DAPP ​DePaul Admission Partnership Program (DAPP). The goal of this program is to increase the number of City Colleges of Chicago students who transfer to DePaul and complete a baccalaureate degree.  Students have access to resources while still attending the City Colleges of Chicago.  Degree course requirements will be locked in.  Eligibility requirements include: students who have earned fewer than 30 credit hours at the City Colleges of Chicago ​1.  Degree Requirements locked in once student signs up.  2.  Assigned a DPU advisor.  3.  Invitations to DPU events.  4.  Eligible for to apply for DAPP scholarships.  5.  Must identify participation before 30 credits completed.  VISIT TRANSFER CENTER FOR DETAILS.. ​30 transferable college credits @ 2.0 or higher; EDU , BUS, MUS, THEA, are majors with higher standards or specific prerequisites
​DePaul Adult Bridge ​The Adult Bridge Program into DePaul's School For New Learning is designed for adults age 24 and older who, because of demands on their time and financial resources, find it difficult to pursue a traditional path to a degree. ​1.   Professors teach at both DPU and CCC.  2.  Students can take courses at DPU for CCC prices in bridge.  3.  Assigned multiple advisors and mentors, using the DPU/SNL advising model.  4.  Bridge students can reduce DPU  graduation requirements significantly by taking courses while in bridge program.   VISIT TRANSFER CENTER FOR DETAILS. ​Admission to SNL different for each student depending on background.
​DePaul MAP 2+2 ​MAP grants will be awarded based upon the tuition of the four year institution where the student intends to transfer. ​1. Must be CCC student who is MAP eligible.  2.  Must have earned less than 16 MAP paid hours.  3. ​Dominican University  

Guaranteed Admission 

​Guaranteed Admission and Junior Standing ​1.  Dual Enrollment. 2. Guaranteed admission at 3.0.   3.  68 credit hours accepted (different from regular admission?) 4.  Core courses are still required even after AA/AFA or AS. ​East-West University ​BA Behavioral Science Guaranteed Admission ​1. With Associate Degree accepted and puts student in junior status in BA in Behavioral Sciences only.  2.  Two courses required of all transfers, but should not extend time to graduate. 3.  Eligible to apply for transfer scholarship. 4. ​Fisk University ​Admissions Agreement w/various options and program articulations ​1. With Associate Degree and 2.5, admissible.  2.  Accept students with less than 45 credits earned with GPA of 2.5 or higher. 3.  Will accept all IAI courses (college is in TN.)  3.  Priority in housing by set deadline. 4.  Priority for scholarships if GPA is 3.0 or higher.  5.  Application fee waived.   6.  Both institutions agree to work together to advise students.  VISIT TRANSFER CENTER FOR DETAILS. ​Very Selective Admiision: Princeton Review places Fisk in the “Top 15% of America’s Universities”

​IIT ​Presidential Scholarship and Educational Initiative for Community College Students - up to $23,500 plus housing and research awards; renewable ​1.  Transfer Guides for CCC courses exist for all disciplines in IIT.  2.  Active recruitment for top students for Presidential scholarship. 3.  Active recruitment of transfer students with transfer scholarships. VISIT TRANSFER CENTER FOR DETAILS. ​Earned a 2.5 cumulative GPA (3.0 GPA for the School of Business) and received a passing grade of C or better in both a college-level English and college-level math course.
​Lewis-Aviation ​Students will complete an associate's degree from one of the seven City Colleges of Chicago and complete a bachelor's degree in either Air Traffic Control Management or Aviation Administration from Lewis University at De La Salle Institute in Chicago. All courses required for the degree programs will be offered in the evenings at De LaSalle Institute, 3434 S. Michigan Avenue. ​1.  Must have CCC AA or AS or the equivalent of 39-45 hours of transferable credit towards the general education core courses from another regionally accredited college, including: 9 hours of English /Communications, 9 hours of Fine Art/Humanities, 9 hours of social sciences, 3-5 hours of math, and 6-10 hours of science. 2. City College students should consult with an advisor regarding the IAI GECC. 3. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA for the Air Traffic Control major and 2.0 GPA for the Aviation Administration and Aviation Security majors. ​NEIU MSTQE ​The Middle School Teacher Quality Enhancement Partnership between CCC and Northeastern Illinois University. ​Students can transfer a maximum of 72 credits from the City Colleges toward completion of the 128 required credit hours for each degree. CCC students can register at CCC for NEIU courses.  Students pay CCC tuition and attend the classes at Northeastern Illinois University. ​Shimer ​Partnership Agreement to allow CCC student to take one course at Shimer. ​City Colleges of Chicago such students may  take up to 2 core courses at Shimer at City College for City College prices. ​SIUC ​General admission agreement.  Institution accepts Associate's Degree and grants junior status. ​1. ​SIUC ​Automotive 2+2 ​1. Offer classes within the Automotive Technology program in an alternating weekend format at Truman.  2. Students are eligible for possible industry work experience. 3.  Perkins Title 1 program. VISIT TRANSFER CENTER FOR DETAILS. ​Credits evaluated course by course.  GPA required is the same.  Must take courses in Carbondale.
​UIC GAT ​Guaranteed Admission for Transfers (GAT) ​1. Maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA. 2.  CCC will help recruit students and supply applications to UIC for yearly cohort of 210 guaranteed spots reserved for CCC GAT students.
2. Enroll full-time at the City Colleges of Chicago.  3. Complete an AA or AS degree from CCC prior to transferring to UIC. VISIT TRANSFER CENTER FOR DETAILS.
​A transfer GPA of 2.50/4.00 on the basis of all transferable work attempted is recommended. Transcripts should illustrate a minimum of 24 semester or 36 quarter hours of transferable college classroom credit at the time of application. College and departmental requirements vary.
​UIC RN-BSN ​Online RN-BSN Completion.  Students who graduate from CCC with an Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) are guaranteed admission to UIC after completing pre requisite courses and passing the NCLEX. Students receive early advisement from UIC when they agree to participate during their first or second semester at CCC ​1.  CCC graduate with an Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) are guaranteed admission to UIC Nursing online option after completing pre requisite courses with a minimum GPA of 2.75, all natural science courses averaging a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher and passing the NCLEX. 2.  Students receive early advisement from UIC when they agree to participate during their first or second semester at CCC. 3.  Advising offered by both institutions once students show interest. ​UIC MMSI ​Joint NSF Grant with UIC to recruit Male Minorities to Science programs at UIC under the same admission requirements as UIC-GAT. ​1.  Assist participating students to graduate from CCC with a GPA (at least a 3.2) and offer experiences which  make them competitive candidates for graduate programs.
2. Create a sustainable support structure that will allow CCC and UIC to institutionalize underrepresented minority male transfer student success in Science  disciplines
3. Offer stipends for summer research and orientation programs at UIC.
