Admissions and Recruitment

Admission is open to applicants 18 years of age or older. Applicants who are 16 and 17 years of age and have been officially released from their high schools may also be admitted. When registering, all applicants must have proof of address (i.e., a Driver's License, State ID, voter registration card, or utility bill).
Admission to the South Chicago Campus is open to anyone seeking to: 

  • Take credit courses to obtain a certificate or to continue at the main campus to obtain an Associate Degree
  • Prepare to take the GED exam
  • Prepare to take the CNA exam
  • Prepare to take the Citizenship test
  • Become proficient in the English language
  • Improve current job skills
  • Improve employment opportunities or just taking a special interest course
  • Take a special interest course
