Register for Credit Classes

Know What Classes You Need (to move toward completion/graduation)

1. Check academic program. Go to my.ccc.edu>Academics>View My Enrollment History to see your current academic program. Does your program align with your education and career goals? If not, see your Academic Advisor.
2. Assess progress. Match your academic history (courses taken and credits earned) against the completion/graduation requirements of your program (available in the Academic Catalog).
3. Determine which classes you need. See your Academic Advisor for help.

Clear Any Obstacles

1. Check for Holds. Go to my.ccc.edu>Academics>Service Indicator (Holds) and Services Which May be Impacted (under the Holds and To Dos section) to see if you have any holds. Take action to resolve any holds. See your Academic Advisor for help.
2. Obtain approval for any courses requiring Department Chair approval (listed in course prerequisites).

Register for Credit Classes

1. Register online (preferred). Click on the "get started online" button above. Login and navigate to Academics>Enroll in a Class/Drop a Class (under the Enrollment section) and follow the directions, or
2. Register on campus

• Meet with your Academic Advisor
• If you are struggling with your current classes; help is available.
• To ensure you are on the correct academic path; that is, to ensure that you are pursuing an academic program that will best prepare you to achieve your education and career goals.
• To create an academic plan: a term-by-term plan to meet all completion/graduation requirements.
• Transfer students: if you plan to transfer to a 4-year institution, bring information about the institution’s (where you plan to transfer) transfer requirements and academic program plan (degree you are seeking) to your meeting with your Academic Advisor.
• Financial aid students: meet with a Financial Aid Advisor to ensure your file is up to date.
