Pharmacy Technology - Admissions & Accreditation

Admissions Requirements 
  
A special application is required for entry into the program. Upon acceptance, students must provide proof of current health insurance and recent medical examination. 
  
For admission consideration, applicants must: 
  
  • Have no felony convictions
  • Proof of current health insurance, recent medical examination and up-to-date vaccinations. 
  • Submit completed Pharmacy Technology application to the program before June 1 for fall semester admission only.   
  • Provide official high school transcripts or GED certificate showing date of graduation as well as official transcripts of all college courses taken by applicant
  • Provide official results of the College placement examination indicating college level scores in Mathematics, English, and Reading comprehension 
  • Submit three letters of recommendation either from former teachers, employers, counselors, other professionals or community leaders to the Pharmacy Technology program office, Room 7015
  • Attend personal interview with members of the program’s admissions committee
