Library Mission

The Carter G. Woodson Library serves students of all levels and disciplines and prepares students for utilizing information through databases, books, and periodicals. Its technological approach to library support enables students to effectively perform data-driven and evidence-based research for their courses.

Library Resources

The Library offers electronic databases, e-books, print and other resources to support the academic work of students, faculty, and staff as well as individual and group library and information literacy instruction.  Please be patient as we work on all the new systems.

Library Subject Guides

The Library Subject Guides (LibGuides) were created by our Librarians to assist our students, faculty, and staff with their research needs. In addition to providing links and tutorials on using the Library and its resources, you can also use LibGuides for recommendations on finding books, academic journals, Library databases, and reliable web pages in various disciplines. We are working on adding new guides.
