Gamma Phi Delta Sorority Incorporated

The Gamma Phi Delta Sorority Incorporated seeks to:

  • Unite fraternally for charitable, educational and fraternal purposes, and to establish and maintain active chapters throughout the United States
  • Foster the improvements of the educational and vocational status of young people with special emphasis on underprivileged youth
  • Assist youth through broadening their educational objectives by encouragement, dissemination of information and financial assistance, and to promote the beneficial use of acquired education and/or training to the best interest of the community
  • Create a better understanding between women of all races and creeds, promoting higher education through encouragement and financial aid and by promoting cultural enrichment and service to mankind.

Officer Requirements

Officers must be in good standing, enrolled in at least six (6) credit hours, and must maintain a minimum cumulative 2.3 GPA each semester the student is an officer.

Member Requirements

Members must be enrolled in at least six (6) credit hours each semester with a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Membership is open to all 2nd semester freshmen or higher Malcolm X students.  Prospective members must be present for rush week and informational.
