2013 NJCAA Region IV Champions  


Myles Morgan will represent the men's basketball team on the Region IV Division I All-Region Team (1st Team). On behalf of the City Colleges of Chicago community and Malcolm X College, congratulations on this outstanding accomplishment!

The Hawks are building on a foundation set in the 2010 season when they posted a 26-6 final record.  The team has a great cast of talent with sophomores Jonathan Henderson, Leron Smith and Sean Hill leading the team.  Henderson is ranked 10th in the nation averaging 11.3 rebounds a game.  Smith and Hill are ranked 1st and 8th in the nation in steals averaging 4.5 and 3.6 per game.

The Malcolm X College men’s basketball team competes in Region IV of the NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) at the Division I level. The NJCAA is the governing body of Junior College Athletics and has over 500 member’s nation-wide.  Student-athletes, coaches and staff members are expected to compete with honesty, integrity and exercise good sportsmanship at all times within the guidelines of the City Colleges of Chicago, Malcolm X College, and the National Junior College Athletic Association.
