High School Programs

Collaboration

City Colleges of Chicago, Chicago Public Schools, and the Chicago Department of Children and Youth Services have joined forces to create The Chicago Partnerships for College and Career Success (CPCCS). This partnership, driven by a Leadership Committee, will take a cohesive approach to providing education, high school -to- college transition services, career exploration, career pathway development, and work experience programs for Chicago youth.

For years, CCC, CPS-ETC, and CYS have each worked diligently to serve the youth of Chicago by providing countless opportunities for quality education, career exploration, and work experience. However, this formal partnership will prove to be a historic merging of priorities, talents, and resources all aimed at serving the youth of Chicago.

The current and future vitality of the U.S. economy depends heavily on the development of a well- educated workforce. With the help of our other partners in economic development and Business and Industry CPCCS will launch a series of initiatives to prepare the youth of Chicago to compete in the global workforce.
