Importing Course Data
You can import data from previous coursesites into existing coursesites on the Blackboard Server. To import past course data:
Once you have the zip file downloaded to your computer:
Go to http://ccc.blackboard.com.
- Click Login.
- Enter your Novell Username and Password.
- Click Login.
- Click title of the destination course.
- Click Control Panel.
- Under Course Options, click Import Package.
- On the Import Package page in the Select a Package area, click the Browse button.
- Navigate to the previously saved archive file (on your hard drive), and click the Open button.
- In the Course Materials section, click on the boxes to the left to select the materials you want to include in the import process.
- Click Submit to import your course data.
ADDITIONAL TIPS:
- Import time varies based on the amount of content.
- You may only import data into an existing Blackboard coursesite.
