CLEP
Be rewarded for what you've learned through independent study, advanced high school courses, noncredit adult courses, or professional development. You can receive credit for what you already know by earning qualifying scores on any one or more of 31 CLEP Examinations. In many cases, passing CLEP examinations will allow you to skip general introductory courses and jump into advanced coursework.
To make an appointment fill out the application and mail it with the $25.00 registration fee (money order only) made out to the City Colleges of Chicago. If you have further questions please call 312.553-3294 or 312.553.3363.
Cost:
CLEP Exams are $65 each - so you will be saving money on tuition.

The CLEP test is also offered on the first Saturday of each month at 9:00 am.
Subjects:
General examinations include: College Mathematics, English Composition, Humanities, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and History. Additionally, there are 26 more specific Subject Examinations and by clicking the link you can find the course equivalent and the credits that can be earned for taking those exams.
