Air Conditioning and Refrigeration

Associate in Applied Science (AAS)

The A.A.S. degree program in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration is the study of the design, selection, maintenance, testing and installation of residential and commercial air conditioning, refrigeration and heating and ventilation systems.

The degree, which includes instruction in business skills, can lead to self-employment or employment as an assistant to engineers in an industrial or business facility, or as an air conditioning and refrigeration mechanic, a furnace installer, oil burner mechanic or gas furnace mechanic with cooling and heating dealers, contractors or utility companies.

Intro Air Conditioning II 3

Refrigeration, its theory, systems, components, and control as applied to air conditioning; study of refrigeration equipment, including function, selection, proper installation, maintenance, and service. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course.

Duct Design And Layout 3
